Groups and individual volunteers are
needed immediately to plant over

5000 trees by April 1st, 2012
in South Cheatham County

Every Saturday in February and March!

We are proud to launch Phase II of our Waterway Flood Recovery Project which will consist of planting 10,000 trees this year to replace those downed by the Historic May 2010 Flood.  This critical effort has been funded by the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle TN.  Available 2012 Planting Dates (All Saturdays this planting season): Feb 18 & 25; March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31.  Our first target is Cheatham County so all sites listed between now and March 31st are all located in South Cheatham County (Kingston Springs, Pegram, and in the Harpeth River State Park in Cheatham County).  See below for more information or SIGN UP TODAY!

 

 Volunteers needed for stream restoration projects

 We are currently organizing river restoration projects throughout Middle TN as part of our Fish Habitat Restoration Initiative with the Tennessee Environmental Council, a collaborative effort funded in 2012 by The Dan and Margaret Maddox Charitable Fund. Administrative volunteers needed at HRWA's Brentwood office
