Administrative Volunteers Needed

HRWA is seeking the help of administrative volunteers to work in our office a few hours a week assisting the staff with data collection and entry, filing, mailings and other tasks.  Please contact the volunteer coordinator if you would like to help. 

Volunteer Scientists - Dissolved Oxygen Study

Volunteers are needed to participate in the annual dissolved oxygen study.   Training and testing equipment will be provided.  Sampliing occurs on 3 days within the parameters of the study.  Each day water samples are taken at 6 am, Noon, 6 pm and Midnight.  Volunteers may work in teams, but teams must attend training together. 

Training will be held at the HRWA office at 1164 Columbia Avenue.
Tuesday, August 19 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Saturday, August 30 9:00-11:00 a.m. Please choose one class to attend. 

The study will take place September 5-14 with three sampling days.  Previously trained volunteers are encouraged to participate! Please call or email the volunteer coordinator to sign up for training.  615-790-9767 ext. 107 or hrwa@harpethriver.org
