Harpeth River Swing Raised Over $110,000
 A "No Waste” event celebrating over 120 TONS of flood debris removed from the State Scenic HARPETH River and its tributaries since the Historic May 2010 Flood.

 
Over 500 people celebrated the Harpeth River Watershed Association’s success of removing 120 TONS of flood debris from the State Scenic Harpeth River and its tributaries since the Historic May 2010, at this year’s River Swing. The Harpeth River Swing took place along the banks of the Harpeth in northern Williamson County, at host Hank and Mary Brockman’s (Williamson County Commissioner) Ponotoc Farm. Guests celebrated as presenting sponsor, Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA), presented HRWA board and staff with its $50,000 grant renewal. The Harpeth River Swing raised another $60,000 in corporate sponsorships, ticket sales, and live auction proceeds.
