Bowie Park, Fairview, TN. Volunteers restored several sections of trail and streambank that we contributing sediment (soil) to the Little Turnbull Creek. This project was funded by REI in Brentwood.

Bowie Park in Fairview. Volunteer River Restoration Corps improved three sites in Fairview's Bowie Park to decrease soil entering Little Turnbull Creek.

River Park, Brentwood, TN. Volunteers and HRWA staff did several projects in River Park to help protect exposed tree roots from high water flows in the Little Harpeth River.

McCutcheon Creek Spring Hill, TN. On January 21, 2006, volunteers came out to Jerry Erwin Park in Spring Hill to help with a reforestation project on McCutcheon Creek in the Duck River watershed.

The Volunteer River Restoration Corps Does Two Projects in One Day: It was an amazing Saturday morning with two simultaneous river restoration projects on the Little Harpeth River. Girl Scouts planted close to 1000 trees in several areas to recreate a buffer zone along the Little Harpeth River in Tower Park and over 30 volunteers replanted the streambank in Picnic Area #11 along the Little Harpeth River in Edwin Warner Park. December 16, 2002

North Ewingville Creek Franklin, TN. A group of volunteers showed up to help install cedar revetments and stream deflectors on Ralston Branch a tributary of North Ewingville Creek in northeast Franklin. Harpeth River watershed.

 

October 26, 2002

West Harpeth River Franklin, TN. The Volunteer River Restoration Corps did its first cedar revetment project on Saturday. It was an all day affair with a great turnout! The project is also part of the Streambank Erosion Study. Harpeth River watershed.

Turnbull Creek Kingston Springs, TN. The River Restoration Corps did a stream bank restoration project in Kingston Springs on the Turnbull Creek Sat. Feb. 22, 2002 in conjunction with the City of Kingston Springs.. Harpeth River watershed.
